Centrul Cultural German Sibiu este o instituţie culturală tânără. De la inaugurarea în anul 2004 Centrul Cultural German Sibiu se bucură de interesul constant al publicului şi este un exemplu de succes pentru un parteneriat public-privat în domeniul cultural. Tânăra echipă a Centrului Cultural are misiunea de a media o imagine actuală şi vie a Germaniei sub toate aspectele sale, prin intermediul unui program cultural variat, dar şi al cursurilor de germană şi al bibliotecii. Încercăm să găsim mereu noi căi de mediere a schimbului cultural româno-german şi să susţinem acest transfer cultural prin numeorase parteneriate.

The German Cultural Centre is a cultural institution from Sibiu which was founded in 2004. The intention of the Cultural Centre is to impart a current and vivid picture of Germany by means of cultural programs, German courses for adults and children and a library.
The team of the cultural centre is always looking for new ways to initiate and support the cultural exchange between Romania and Germany.
The institution not only offers intercultural, learner-centered and communicative German courses for adults and children, but also a lot of interesting and interactive cultural programs. The third part of the institution is the German library where you can find German literature for children and teens, games, audio books and movies, as well as German nonfictional books, newspapers and magazines. Its goal is to promote the German language and culture in Romania and especially the exchange of cultures between these two countries.
