FUNDAŢIA BUCUREŞTII NOI

Fundatia Bucurestii Noi, cu sediul in strada Linistei nr 13 a fost fondata in 1998 de doi tineri care doreau sa aduca un ajutor concret batranilor din cartier cu posibilitati economice reduse si care traiau singuri. De mai bine de zece ani isi desfasoara activitatile proprii in cartierul bucurestii noi (sector 1, Bucuresti), si in zonele limitrofe. Daca la inceput s-a ocupat mai ale de batranii singuri si de familiile sarace, astazi activitatile sunt indreptate si catre copii, tineri si studenti. Fundatia a colaborat mereu cu Y.A.N.A. Lichtenstein, ONG care a finantat proiectul "Alaturi de batrani si de familii" prin care un grup de cca 20 de batrani primeau sustinere alimentara si unde era necesar, financiara, odata pe luna.

Astazi colaboratorii sunt mult mai numerosi: proiectul "Mergem la facultate" se dezvolta impreuna cu associatia "Il pozzo di Isacco" onlus; ajutoarele materiale pentru familii si studenti este posibil si datorita asociatiei olandeze Humanitair Aid. In sfarsit, proiectul "Sa invatam distrandu-ne" care prevede organizarea unui centru de vara gratuit care dureaza toata perioada vacantei de vara, este animat de voluntari internationali (italia, franta, spania). Odata cu cresterea numarului de activitati si de servicii oferite, a crescut si numarul beneficiarilor si astazi Fundatia Bucurestii Noi ofera ajutor pentru cca 300-400 persoane pe an.

Bucurestii Noi Foundation was founded in 1998 by two young people who wanted to provide the elderly people of their neighbourhood living alone and with economic difficulties with concrete help. The headquarters of the Foundation is in Linistei Street 13, Bucharest. Bucurestii Noi Foundation has been carrying out its activities in Bucurestii Noi area (sect. 1, Bucharest) and in the neighbouring areas for more than 10 years. Started from alone elderly people and needy families, the activities are nowadays addressed to children, young people and students as well. Since its birth, the Foundation has been cooperating with Y.A.N.A. Lichtenstein, an NGO which has been financing the "Alaturi de batrani si de familii" project since its start and which has helped Bucurestii Noi Foundation providing ca. 20 elderly people with food support and financial help, when needed.

Nowadays the collaborations are many more: the "Mergem la facultate" project is carried out with Il Pozzo di Isacco NPO Association and the material support to the families and the students is possible thanks to the help given by the dutch association Humanitair as well. Moreover, the "Invatam distrandu-ne" project, which consists in the creation of a free summer camp throughout the whole summer, involves many young international volunteers (from Italy, France and Spain). With the increasing number of the offered activities and services, the number of beneficiaries has increased as well: at the present time Bucurestii Noi Foundation helps ca. 300-400 people every year.

In 2012 a fourth project has been started: "Invatam de mici sa fim mari", which consists in the financial and technical help for the new scout group Bucurestii Noi 1.
