Dacă simţiţi nevoia să vă relaxaţi, să petreceţi timp alături de cei dragi să savuraţi în tihnă o cafea ori un ceai răsfoind un ziar sau o carte, atunci locul unde trebuie să ajungeţi este La papion.
Singura cafenea culturală din oraş unde "meniul" conţine puţin mai mult: întâlniri cu artişti, poeţi şi scriitori, proiecţii de film, piese de teatru, cărţi bune şi chiar papioane.
Doar La papion primiţi o băutură caldă gratuită la zece cumpărate.
Ne găsiţi în centrul Turzii, vis-à-vis de catedrala ortodoxă, de luni până sâmbătă între orele 8.30 şi 21. Vă invităm la activităţi culturale în fiecare marţi şi joi de la ora 18.00

Numele cafenelei se datorează celebrelor papioane pe care le purta Ion Raţiu. Pe scena politică românească, papionul va mai fi încă pentru mulţi ani asociat cu Ion Raţiu, alături de claritatea sa în gândire, abordarea sa deschisă, manierele impecabile şi eleganţa vestimentară – după unii “cel mai bun preşedinte pe care România nu l-a avut niciodată”.
“La Papion” oferă sustenabilitate financiară programelor şi proiectelor implementate de Centrul Raţiu pentru Democraţie.

Situated in the town center with easy parking and public transportation within reach, we offer a rich choice of coffees, lemonades, soft drinks, beer, wine and easy snacks. Daily newspapers, books, free Wi-Fi, quality music, board games and excellent guest service are just some of our other strong points. We organize movie and theater projections, host debates, promote both old and new artists and offer them the possibility to exhibit their work. We are a non-smoking coffee-shop, but we keep special seats on our balcony for those, who enjoy their coffee with a cigarette. The name of the coffee shop originates from the famous bow ties that Mr. Ion Ratiu wore himself. On the Romanian political scene, the bow tie will for many years be associated with Ion Ratiu, with his clarity of vision, his blunt approach, his impeccable manners and his sartorial elegance - according to some he is - “the best president Romania never had”. Initiated by Pamela Ratiu, Executive Director of Ratiu Family Charitable Foundation to Romania, “La Papion” generates sustainable revenue to support programs and projects implemented by the Ratiu Center for Democracy.
