ROMFISH National Association of Fish Producers was established in 2008 and was based on carp farmer's will of finding the way for sustainable development of their activity. One of the ways of moving the development decisions closer to farmer's and fisherman's working ground has been the AXIS 4 - Fisheries Local Action Group.
ROMFISH is member of "Larga Jijia" FLAG, which covers a very beautiful place at about 25 km N of Iasi, the second largest city in Romania, a good example of fish farming generating biodiversity.
